Noel Poirier
I am a historian with thirty-plus years of work in the museum and non-profit industries. I’ve always had an interest in presenting America's diverse history using living history, traditional exhibitions and social media. I've worked in the past for The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Williamsburg, Virginia; Landis Valley Farm and Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm in Pennsylvania, Historic Bethlehem Partnership in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, The National Watch & Clock Museum in Columbia, Pennsylvania, and the Age of Steam Roundhouse in Sugarcreek, Ohio. I am currently a the Executive Director of the Ohio Genealogical Society. Additionally, I have served as a Peer Reviewer, conducting assessments and accreditation studies, for the American Alliance of Museums for over a decade.
