About
Mark Christopher Lee
Mark Christopher Lee is the enigmatic slightly mad front man of the cult indie pop band – The Pocket Gods. He has been described as a “wilful maverick” by BBC Radio 6’s Tom Robinson and was originally discovered by the late John Peel. He was born in the North of England in the Dark Sarcastic Milltown of Huddersfield, but later escaped to the South and the land of Cappuccinos and commuting. As well as having released 23 albums and 14 EPs with The Pocket Gods Mark is a senior writer for the US music magazine, Dig This Real. He likes crisps, snacks and used to partake too much of the green fairy, but has since mended his ways, and ear lobes, and now just has the occasional tankard of ale down his friendly local, The Green Man.
