Enrique Ortiz
Dr. Enrique Ortiz is a faculty member at the University of Central Florida since 1989. He has been involved in many aspects of the mathematics teaching profession. He has been a teacher, curriculum developer, supervisor, and instructor of many mathematics methods courses. He is an active member of the National Council of Teacher of Mathematics and other professional organizations. He has presented papers and workshops locally, nationally and internationally, and published professional articles and books related to mathematics education. He is also interested in the creative aspects of using arts and mathematics especially by developing geometric abstract paints and visual images. The Triangle Puzzle is an example of a learning tool that supports creativity and mathematics learning.
