Ositadimma Amakeze has read. He is still reading as he strives to attest the difference between certification and qualifications through art. As an artist and poet, he talks about the Muse more often than not; as evident in his poetry book, “The Blazes & Buzzes of the Muse.” The demiurgic force as it were, fashions the sensible world of his words through the walls of eternal ideas. As such, the ethereal eloquence and ingenious exploitation of events found in his novel “The Last Carver,” and other works of his, testify to a sublime possession of thought wrought in a conscious silence and solitude of being! The contention above stated, as seen in the two delinquents in “The Teeth of a Snail” is an erroneous phenomenology, “…, since things have refused to happen, I have to happen. And if people begin to wonder, then I will begin to wander”. He believes ‘we happen’ but there’s an ethics that guides such manifestation. Thus, it is wrong to assume there’s no wrong in doing things wrongly.
