Pamelia Loyd created Happy Faces Different Places out of love for her 8 grandchildren. As a mother and grandmother she realized that there were no coloring books that represented African American children in stores or online so she started creating color pages in AI to celebrate her culture and her heritage. These pages grew into books. These books celebrate Black beauty, culture, and history while also focusing on wellness and relaxation and joy in coloring.
