About
PAUL WAYNE

Author PAUL WAYNE is a graduate of Pembroke College, Oxford, where he read English Language & Literature, gaining a First in Honour Moderations, a Domus Scholarship, and the Derbishire Prize. Oxford was the only university I applied to-- because JRR Tolkien was one-time Rawlinson and Bosworth Professor of Anglo Saxon, 1925 - 1945, at Pembroke College (of which Dr Samuel Johnson was also an alumnus)... a Chair instituted in 1795. Paul wanted to study Old English, one of Tolkien's specialties, which furnished much of the creative background for The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings. I also attended lectures by JRRT's son, Christopher. I have also other stories for children-- and the adults who read them aloud!-- awaiting publication, and an adult fantasy fiction epic in three volumes, THE TRIPLE GODDESS: OPHELIA/ARBELLA/GLORIA... also yet to hit the shelves with a wham clunk thump and hurray for the humour. THE ARISTOTLES is also available as an Audio Book, read by me. After living in London, Paul moved to New York, then to Seattle, before returning to England, where he lives at The Hobbit House, near Brighton in Sussex, which he designed with a round front door, quirky themed features, and several world-class pianos, including a Model D 'concert grand' Hamburg Steinway & Sons'. Paul for some years did talent voice-over work, including that for Warner Bros' Harry Potter, and a Scene It? DVD interactive board game to accompany the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire film.
