Poetry: A creative way to express yourself. That is my definition. Though it may not be the correct description, it is my outlet for self-expression. Much of my writings reflect personal experiences and the feelings that accompanied them. There were good times and bad times. Happy times and sad times. Some express anger and disappointment, while others express confusion. I have always been intrigued with the world of poetry. It is a forum that puts your mind to work. You see some poets make their poems stand out with not much mental exercise needed. Others make your brain sweat. That is what makes poetry reading such a challenge. It tests your brain’s ability to travel down many different roads. So don't define the words...let words define you!
