Ruth Pike is an author/illustrator from the Willamette Valley of Oregon. She has written and illustrated Bun-Bun Bunny, Meanie Mouse, and The Chicken Dance. Ruth and her husband live on a mini-farm with three sheep, two cats and 13 chickens. She and her husband homeschooled their children through high school. Ruth has a journalism degree from the University of Nebraska and has worked as a reporter, advertising executive, small business owner, children's librarian and tutor. A note from Ruth: A friend once asked me where I get my inspiration for children's books. God gives each of us talents, and in His wonderful cornucopia of gifts, I received a measure of writing and illustrating.
