Marilyn is an illustrator and co-author of Cartwheel Katie And Friends Children's Books. She comes from a large creative family. Each of her 6 siblings have been gifted with creative skills. Marilyn and her sister, Cindy Ponko, combine their talents to create picture and story books that originate from true-life experiences. The characters in their books are develped from people who have entered their lives at some point, weather knowing them personally or observing them while out and about.
