Arthur was born in 1931, and became a Christian in 1948. At London University he gained a 2nd honours degree in Physics. He went on to get a Teaching Diploma, and throughout his career life taught physics in England, Kenya, and Hong Kong. Coupled with his love of science, he was a keen student of Greek and Hebrew, and gave many lectures on Biblical subjects. During their retirement in Lincolnshire, he and his wife Rosalind opened their home for a House Church through some 20 years, and Arthur began to publish several books on Science and Biblical subjects. In January 2014, Rosalind went to be with the Lord after being diagnosed with cancer. It was eight years later in February 2022 that Arthur joined her, a month short of his 91st birthday.
