Stephen Sonneveld is a recipient of the Kennedy Center/American College Theater Festival Outstanding Playwright Award, Warner Bros. Short Romantic Story Competition, had screenplays place at the Austin Heart of Screenwriting Festival, was a finalist in the New York Television Festival ION First Act Competition, among other writing awards for essays and nonfiction. He is a syndicated writer at Bleacher Report, and his work has appeared in publications as diverse as Windy City Times, Mad Magazine and Pro Wrestling Illustrated.
