About
Alan Oldham

Making his indie comics debut during the fabled B&W boom of the mid-'80s, a young, precociously-talented Alan D. Oldham burst onto the scene full-blown with "Johnny Gambit," a comic completely created and produced by Oldham himself. Three issues were produced (actually four), then the Detroit Techno scene came calling. Oldham eventually put down the pen and ink to follow the footsteps of his friends and idols Derrick May and Jeff Mills into the international DJ spotlight. After establishing himself as a global musical (and artistic!) talent, Oldham returned to the drawing board, launched his Pure Comics imprint, and brought back his signature character, Johnny Gambit. Joining JG is a new character in the stable: Vectra, Black Girl From The Future. Look for new graphic projects to come!
