Richard Forsyth has been a journalist and magazine editor since 1993 and began writing fiction when he published the science fiction book Escape from Underworld in 2008. "I wrote the book at night mostly, in the early hours of the morning, when eveyone was asleep in the house. My wife was pregant with my son and I had an insomnia that fuelled my writing. I really enjoyed writing this book. I visualised every scene vividly." Escape from Underworld is available on itunes, Waterstones, WHSmiths online and Amazon. Other books have been published since with the science fiction theme including Sitting Target, a sci-fi noir work of fiction that tracks a conspiracy that leads to the end of the world, and a story about the horrors of Hiroshima called Becoming Death. Richard now lives in Wiltshire with his wife, son and daughter.
