About
Robbie Robinson
Ronald ('Robbie') C. B. Robinson graduated from Cambridge University, England, in the early 1960s. My principal occupation for nearly fifty years has been as a journeyman professional horseman. My novels, written over several decades, are intended to offer the reader relaxing, unpretentious, light entertainment. The titles of my two short equestrian manuals, created from a lifetime's experience, speak for themselves. Flight Lieutenant Charles Blackburn, whose initials are reflected in my middle names, was my uncle and a Hurricane pilot killed in action in 1943. I use his name on the covers of my novels to honour and to keep alive his memory.
