Small town Mississippian, Roderick (Red.C) Chamberlain, born in a town named Shuqualak (Sugar lock) better known as L.A.K. Looking to find a motivated film maker to make his books come alive. Red.c traveled the world a bunch growing up he stayed in multiple cities for short periods of time in his youth. Witnessed some amazing and not so amazing things. As he entered into his adulthood he quickly became a father of two and decided to drop out of college and get a job to earn his keep. Mississippi didn't have much for Roderick in the work field. No education in a poverty stricken state wasn't ideal for a young man who only wanted to feed his family and get his part of the American dream. His first job paid him 5.25 an hour with only about 20 to 30 hours a week. The next job he landed was a little better making a whopping 10.25 an hour but the job was 2 hours away and gas took what child support didn't. Roderick reached out to a relative and became a MERCHANT MARINER. Well he started off as a deckhand but gracefully worked his way up the ladder. Traveling the different rivers Roderick built a pretty nice catalog of stories to tell. Some which would never be told you will just have to read about them. Twelve long years and three more children Roderick decided he needed to be home more. Now he works on land full time as well as being an full time author.
