About
Robert Brown
Robert Brown is a physicist, philosopher, poet, computer geek, and above all, teacher. Raised in India as a child, his worldview endeavors to combine the best mathematical philosophy of the Western Enlightenment with the practical humanism of Buddhism and Vedantic Hinduism. His first novel, The Book of Lilith, reflects that merger of viewpoints in a mythopoeic extravaganza that follows Lilith, Adam's first and only wife, as she blazes a trail across the ancient world giving souls to the soulless and ultimately achieving reunion with her true self. In addition to this novel (and others in the works) and two collections of poetry, Dr. Brown writes serious textbooks for students of physics and computing. These books are generally distributed for free from his personal website, but individuals wishing to contribute to their construction and upkeep are encouraged to buy a paper or electronic copy here (and then continue to download free upgrades at will).
