I am an independent scholar with a particular interest in psychoanalysis and philosophy. In the time left over from my day job, I am also a writer, publisher, game designer, counsellor, and musician. I dislike formal learning but nonetheless have a Master's degree in German Linguistics, an M.Ed. with a specialization in counselling, and a Dr.Phil. in Philosophy, Contemporary German Literature, and Mediæval Studies. I have held various day jobs in academia, crisis intervention, mental health, immigration policy, and border policy, and am a training candidate of the Canadian Institute of Psychoanalysis, Québec English Branch. My chief interests include psychoanalytic theories of mind, psychotherapy, classic SF, and traditional hard rock.
