About
Rubianne Foster

Rubianne Foster writes like she’s bleeding onto the page—honest, unflinching, and sharp around the edges. Raised in the Midwest with dirt under her nails and storms in her chest, she eventually found herself in Central Florida, chasing sun but still carrying shadows. She started writing in 2023, and by 2024 she dropped her first chapbook, I Swear I’m Not Sad—a title that lies, a little. It’s a messy love letter to grief, rage, and the parts of life we try not to talk about. In 2025, she followed it up with Life’s Lessons, a collection that doesn’t preach, but sits with you in the dark. Rubi doesn’t just write—she burns. Literally. Her art takes form in pyrography, carving fire into wood, selling pieces at shows that smell like smoke and soul. When she’s not at the booth or behind a pen, she’s wandering—through forests, abandoned buildings, and pixelated wastelands in whatever Fallout game she can get her hands on. In 2025, she lit a spark that turned into a poetry club, pulling in misfits, dreamers, and late-night writers from around the world. What started local became virtual, and it’s still growing.
