Luke Zhang was born in Shanghai, China and amongst the first generation of Chinese Canadians. His hobby in writing was inspired by Anime especially the earlier works of prominent Japanese manga artist and film director Hiyao Miyazaki. He currently resides in Toronto working as an Engineer in the Telecommunications Industry.
