I had always dreamed I’d be some sort of artist. In college I even pursued a degree in interior design. Up until that point I had dappled in photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, and just about every other artistic venture available. In elementary school I briefly considered authorship as a potential career path (Camp Read-A-Lot was my favorite time of year), but never did I think that specific dream would come to fruition. Yet here I am, twenty-something years old, married, living in Washington (the state), and authoring books. Illustrating, too, for as it turns out my history in art has assisted me greatly.
