David Carriker has been writing on North Carolina subjects since 1977. They include 9 family histories, 21 railroad histories and videos, 11 church histories and other subjects of interest for the Carolinian reader. In addition, there are a dozen other books in different stages of completion. He resides in Waxhaw, NC near the SC border, on the old Seaboard Air Line RR mainline. His interests include photography, all sorts of historical ventures and his Railroad Garden.
