So many words I have written, yet none come to my aide now. Uncertain what to say, I will leave you only with this: I have been writing poetry for almost as long as I can remember. The Darkest hour was first released while I was still in highschool, a Junior, I believe, and Just Before Dawn was first released in 2003. Some believe my work to be dark, for the most part, though not all of it is. The darkest hour is just before dawn, but if we can make our way through that twilight world, and hold on until dawn kisses the horizon, and breathes new light upon the world, we have no greater battle. My poetry is the story of my battle. Truly, all of it is me. It is written from my heart, with a piece of my soul, even though at times it feels light, or fleeting. I have given myself for hours on end as words pour forth, but I do not regret a minute. I live my life as passionately as I may, for, as I say, "If you do not live life passionately, what is the point of living at all?
