Author's note:My Shaky Grandma was my first published book. Finding ways to talk to my family about PD was the most difficult part of my diagnosis in 2001 and writing this story helped convey some of the things I wanted them to understand,about accepting the changes life brings. I hope this story lends itself to opening discussions for any family dealing with things like PD, or Alzheimers, or other life changing issues. Every case of PD is different, but I am a firm believer in attitude, and this story is all about attitude - positive, faith driven attitude. Attitude controls my life, not the Parkinson's. My other stories here are the first stories of a collection. Personal, yet universal, the Journey goes on from generation to generation.
