I am Tanika Andrews, and I am family and self-taught chef that loves to blend the rich tradition of my family from the south with my city flare. My culinary journey started when I was just 4 years old, but I didn't know it at the time. My Great Grandmother let me cook my first pancake and I fell in love with the kitchen. I watched my Great Grandmother and Grandmother work magic in the kitchen and the food was always so delicious. Those early experiences ignited a passion for cooking within me, and I find my peace and happiness in the kitchen. Cooking is not just a profession for me, it's how I keep my connection with my roots, honor the women that taught to cook and explore new flavors and techniques.
