Siamak obtained his master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 1995 and finished his post-graduate studies at the University of Harbin's medical school in China that same year. He has also been awarded the Doctor of Oriental Medicine degree from Canada's College of Natural Medicine in Montreal in 2008. He holds a certification in Homeopathic Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. He is nationally certified in his field and holds a license to practice Chinese Medicine in the State of Oregon by the Oregon Medical Board. He has been in private practice in Portland, Oregon since 1995. Siamak has served on several nonprofit organizations and is president emeritus of the Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine Society of Oregon and the Oregon Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (under his leadership combined as one organization). He is currently serving on an advisory committee to the Oregon Medical Board.
