Christian Skoorsmith, MA, PsyD(c), is an author, teacher, award-winning hypnotherapist, and sought-after international speaker on three continents on hypnosis-related topics. He is Board Certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) and the International Association of Hypnosis Professionals (IAHP). In 2022 he was inducted as a Fellow of the NGH - a distinction fewer than 0.25% of hypnotists ever achieve. The Seattle Times named him "the best alternative therapy in the Pacific Northwest." In addition to five books on hypnosis-related topics, Christian is the author of more than 50 articles in professional and academic journals. He has also published several collections of poetry, each focused in various ways on authenticity of experience and the search for insight. He lives in Seattle, WA, USA, with his family, and is in full-time private practice there.
