The author, Randolph (Randy) Snowball is 43 and lives in Boise ID. He is currently an inmate in the Idaho State Prison serving a sentence for a probation violation. Determined to never again be "under the thumb" of the Idaho Department of Prisons and Paroles, he is serving his entire sentence so that when he walks out he will not be on parole or probation.
