Stephanie Oddo is fifteen and a sophomore in high school. From the time she was six years old, she has always had a notebook and pen strapped to her side, constantly writing poems, short stories, and, most recently, a novel. Her passion from writing stemmed from her grandmother, a woman of many fairytale stories. After hearing her grandma’s stories, Stephanie had a dream: to one day become a published writer. From that day forward, she had entered and won many writing contests, including Voices of America. The idea of writing a novel came to her one day in math class where she had been absentmindedly doodling during her free time. Later, looking at that doodle, she had thought of the entire plot line for her first novel. On November 8, two days after her fifteenth birthday, the novel was published on Lulu.com.
