My name is (ironically), Paige, and I'm the founder of Storyfolk. My goal is to help fellow writers to not only feel inspired and motivated during their writing process, but to take their storytelling abilities to the next level. I am fascinated with the way Disney goes about developing their feature films and highly believe that all of that foundational work ultimately strengthens and elevates a story. As writers, we don’t have access to a studio and dozens of specialists–for the most part writing a novel is a solo act–so my hope is that this planner and community can help bridge that gap and set writers up for success. These workbooks were created to guide writers through the key organizational elements and dive far deeper into the world the are creating. I find that by doing so, the story flows more organically while drafting, the risk of potholes are minimized, and writers block isn't as ferocious a monster. On a personal note, my background is in theatre, script writing, and story development. At home, I've got two little spawns and way too many pets (seriously... we're outnumbered). I love encouraging my kids to explore storytelling through play and creation–hence my line of story journals for little ones.
