Originally a self-taught pop and jazz musician, David Burnand is Visiting Professor in Music and Multimedia at the Royal College of Music in London. He composes film and electroacoustic music, and writes primarily on the subjects of film composing and the broader training and education of musicians Following study with the Faber Academy, David has recently completed his first novel.
