About
Tamika M. Smith
After giving her life to Christ in 2001 in Dallas, Texas, Tamika began a life devoted to prayer, service, and spiritual growth alongside her husband in a small church led by his uncle. There, she was grounded in the discipline and power of prayer. She served faithfully as a praise dancer, minister, and armor bearer to the Bishop and First Lady, participating in prayer meetings, overnight shut-ins, and deliverance services that deepened her calling as an intercessor. Along the way, many recognized in her a nurturing, steadfast spirit reminiscent of an “older mother in Zion.” Her journey as an intercessor continued to flourish after relocating to Birmingham, Alabama, in 2011. Joining a growing church community, Tamika resumed her dedication to ministry through praise dance, teaching Sunday school, serving in leadership roles, acting as an armor bearer, and leading intercessory prayer. She is deeply passionate about prayer and deliverance, committed to growing in spiritual understanding, and eager to teach others how to pray with purpose and effectiveness. Above all, Tamika treasures her calling at home as a devoted wife and mother of three, seeing her faith, family, and ministry as beautifully intertwined expressions of her life’s purpose.
