Kimberly Welsh is a prolific writer, though not a terribly prolific writing-finisher. She holds a Master's Degree in French Literature and has been performing daredevil feats of comedy on her blog, Wildly Exaggerated, since April 2011. She is currently working on her first mystery/adventure romp of a novel, periodically taking breaks to write short stories with more of a sci-fi/thriller edge. Her own literary tastes run the gamut from Sylvia Plath's Bell Jar to astronaut autobiographies to her favorite book of all time, Joseph Heller's Catch-22. As a person who basically has an advanced degree in reading, her personal literary philosophy is that the best books are those with a good sense of humor. If Honoré de Balzac wasn't above making the occasional joke, then neither is she. Kimberly lives in Atlanta with her cat, Sebastian.
