Author, Thom Harris, grew up in Seattle; attended Queen Anne High and Seattle Pacific College (now, University); began teaching Art and Social Studies at a State facility for "delinquent" boys. After two school years, an opportunity to teach and serve in a mission school in Hawaii became a reality. The experience on the Island of Maui extended for seven years. He also met his wife there. Stories and adventures stemmed from the Hawaiian assignment by God!
