William R. (Bill) Dantini grew up in Amsterdam, NY. He graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY, with a B.A. in English. He did his graduate work at the University of Louisville. Dantini was a writer and marketing executive for General Electric, and a senior writer in a communications firm he cofounded in the late 1980s. He is the author of two previous novels: "Dead Wrong: The Second Assassination of Abraham Lincoln" and "The Port Jackson Paisans". He lives in Raleigh, NC.
