todd utz teaches evolution in the bible belt, along with other biology related topics. When not teaching, he likes to paint pictures, work with hot glass, ride scooters, go to concerts, and make hummus. When not doing something he likes, he is probably repairing something in the old house where he sleeps and eats. todd utz was born in St. Louis, but grew up in the near by town of irrepressible joy known as Granite City, Illinois. Along his path to this point in time, todd utz has been a Peace Corps volunteer, an Americorps volunteer, a graduate student in entomology and has taught at various schools in various capacities with a varying degree of success. He currently resides in the aforementioned old house with his wonderful wife and darling daughter.
