My real name is Elina Martin. I was born in Salisbury, Zimbabwe. I was raised by my poor parents and we grew up in the poorest community. If it had not been for my parents selling greens and paying our school fees, I would never have written these books as no one where i grew up could afford to go to school as we had to pay for school fees. Never mind that, each family had a minimum of ten or more family members living under one roof and i would want you to imagine how hard that was. I am talking feeding all those ten mouths.
