yler Foran grew up in the southern part of Arizona in a city called Tucson. Since his first book Lawson City, he has published three other novels intertwined in the same time line in the same fictional location with of the same name. They are; Falling Home, The One You'll Need and The Peppercorn Files: The Number Killer. Novel writing wasn't Foran's first venture into publication. He once wrote music and performed under the name burningtiresmell, a solo acoustic project that grew into a desire to write poetry which cultivated into story telling in novel form. Though Foran doesn't venture far away from his musical past; often paying homage to some of the most influential songs in his life in his writing. Songs from artist like Jimmy Eat World, Little Hurricane and Benjamin Gibbard to name a few.
