I served for more than twenty years as career diplomat for the Venezuelan Foreign Service, as Cultural Attache, researcher, art curator and cultural resource manager in different locations around the world. More recently, I have worked as Museum/gallery professional, focusing on curatorship, working with several local and international artists, preparing and installing exhibitions, while forming long term relationships. I have organized artists’ participation on local and national art fairs, developed site-specific installations and exhibitions , planned exhibit-related programming and community outreach, and developed collaborative projects. In the Lone Star College/Kingwood Art Gallery, I have been consulting for numerous visual artists in the Houston area, while developing a visual communications strategy and graphic digital content of their work.
