Wendy and her husband Roy have been married since 1985 and have three children. Wendy home-schooled her two older children, taught college English for 23 years, has tutored writing students and taught voice lessons and directed youth theater. She and her family moved to Hailey, Idaho in 2014 to open The Coffee House--a Gathering Place and to invest in the community there and begin a casual church meeting in a neutral location for people who are attracted to Jesus but not interested in attending a traditional church service. They focus on building relationships, speaking words of life, peace, truth, and hope, and encouraging everyone to take the next step in seeking after God, whatever that step may be. Wendy loves teaching, singing, speaking, and writing about the things God is doing in her life and in the world.
