Wolter SMIT est né le 16 octobre 1945 aux Pays-Bas et a vécu en Suisse de 1971 à 1995, où il était informaticien chez un constructeur en informatique, avant de se mettre à son compte en 1989. C'est en 1995 qu'il est venu habiter en France, dans la commune où il demeure actuellement. En 2006 il a arrêté toute activité en tant qu'informaticien et c'est cette année là qu'il a commencé à consacrer son temps à l'écriture. Wolter SMIT was born on october 16, 1945 in the Netherlands and lived in Switzerland from 1971 to 1995 where he was a computer engineer working for a computer manufacturer before he started his own business in 1989. In 1995 he came to live in France in the town where he lives now. Later, in 2006, he stopped all IT activity and it’s that year he began to devote his time to writing.
