The Workers Party in America is the only political party in the United States that is of, by and for working people -- workers build and lead this party, and we fight for the rights and livelihoods of all our brothers and sisters. We fight for the defeat of capitalist rule and the victory of a workers' republic, run by democratically-elected workers' councils and assemblies, as part of an all-encompassing revolutionary industrial union movement. Our goal is abolition of capitalist private property (the means of production, distribution and exchange) and abolition of the wage system.
