Born in Springfield, Illinois and raised to understand books and literature, she learned to write by practicing and learning. Also known under the pen name Megan C. Slagle, she writes under both names in her artwork and likes Megan C. Slagle for her children’s books which are stories that bring children together with singing and laughter. Vader Bongolan, also known as Slagle, is currently working on several children’s stories which are set to be published. She attended Portland State University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Book Publishing. In 2020, she wrote and published the children’s book I Love You Baby which was her book debut. She published the art piece Wine Art and has published poems that are in the fantasy and science-fiction genre. She gained skills in book editing by working at Ooligan Press and has published articles on romance and editing characters. When she’s not with her two daughters, she is writing and editing. She loves to edit videos and practice photography. She also enjoys traveling and gets inspiration from her adventures and what she experiences when eating local treats. She is currently working on novels, musical songs, and podcasts. She loves reading books and gets excited when reading a story. Her favorite treat is chocolate.
