Under the Northern Lights

A collection of short stories of animals and people of the North. Somewhat reminiscent of "The Jungle Book". This book gives interesting insights into the lives of the native people of Canada, from the perspective of a poet and short story writer from the early 1900s. It is not complex, but very entertaining and he captures the beauty and savagery of northern Canadian landscape extremely well. It is both an historical piece and a good read.
