Mixed-up Kid

Twenty-nine short stories, jumbled up in no sequential order and resonant of a slightly confused child-psychology somewhat fitting the title, is built around the childhood memories of Jethro Anson Nowsty, an un-ordinary boy from an ordinary working class family in an ordinary town in north east England, from his first tentative steps in infants school in the late 1960's until the end of his plain and unimpressive education and unwilling transition into the adult world in the summer of 1979.
