What is love?

You've insisted on asking many, many, many times and many, many, many times I've resisted but now I'm going to tell you the truth. And you may not like it. But I hope you at least accept it. You don't have to like it. But if you insist on asking then I'll tell you but don't forget: if you don't like what you hear, I told you many, many, many times I didn't want you to know. I haven't told you the truth before because you've not been old enough and I wanted to allow you to preserve your innocence. There's nothing wrong with innocence. There's nothing healthier than innocence. It's a magical state. Never at any other time of your life should you be innocent except in your youth. But the line between innocence and corruption, once crossed, can never be re-crossed. Curiosity gets the better of us all in the end and don't forget: once we open the box, or open the door, we can't close it again. Don't say I didn't warn you.
