Don't Brexit, Fix it!

Europe's Founding Fathers led by Robert Schuman, created an innovative form of Democracy. It improved on Lincoln's principles 'of the people, by the people, for the people.' The supranational Community idea made 'war not only unthinkable but materially impossible.' Europe's Community idea sustained the greatest period of prosperity in all European history. Why have today's national governments and the Brussels institutions lost trust of the people? On 23 June 2016 British electors voted for Brexit "to LEAVE the European Union". Now the United Kingdom is in political turmoil. So is Brussels. Why? Few modern politicians or academics can define "supranational"or "Community".
