The Old People Next Door

Follow the summer when Freya, who lives on what seems an ordinary English street, first notices the group of old people who live in the house next door to her. After being incredibly disappointed when her trip away over the summer is cancelled, Freya Godwit comes across the true, and rather unexpected, goings-on in the house next door to her, home to a quintet of old people. In a whirlwind of foxes, axes and race cars, the next 6 weeks are far from the dull days Freya expected, and she finds herself wishing that the next term would start already, and that she had more ordinary and calm neighbours than the Old People Next Door.
