‘Mum there’s something under my bed,’ Madge said as she forced her Mum’s eyes open, ‘Mum please wake up because there’s something under my bed and it’s making funny noises and it sounds like it’s talking to itself,’ and when they looked there was indeed a something but it was a good something because from somewhere way in the back of her mind Madge’s Mum’s wee brain she knew it was a good something because it seemed to be like the same wee something, well almost the same wee something, that had been under her bed when she was Madge’s age.
