Detective Cheerie Hypnotized?

The autumn of 2010 in London was a city filled with the magnificent colors of the season. Detective Cheerie (large male cream colored cat) was enjoying watching the geese that were migrating. The doorbell rang and it was Inspector Jiles of Scotland Yard. He explained the reason for his visit. A teenager had just been murdered in London. "I need Detective Cheerie's assistance in solving this crime. The victim had been hypnotized. "What an unusual murder," I stated. "Detective Cheerie has an uncanny knack for finding clues and evidence. He has located and been instrumental in locating murderers attempting to escape. I am certain he will help us close this case soon!" Inspector Jiles exclaimed. But, what if the murderer tried to hypnotize Detective Cheerie? I knew he is no ordinary cat but, would he be a match if this happened?
