London doesn't have much snow. But, in January 2002, there was the largest amount of snow on record. The city was covered with a sparkling white blanket. Favorite parks glistened with the brightness of the snow. I (Bentley Brighton) spent the morning working on my latest murder mystery novel. My constant companion, Detective Cheerie of Scotland Yard (large male cream colored cat) watched out the balcony door as the snow fell. Later the snow finally stopped. With his thick furry coat Detective Cheerie loves the cold. "Would you like to go to Roudman Park?" I asked. He meowed loudly and ran to the door. We arrived to an eerie silence. "No one else is probably here," I said. In a moment we heard a dog bark and the sound of laughter. We walked, following the sounds and found a young couple with their large white dog. But, Detective Cheerie made a grisly discovery in Roudman Park!!Seventy-fourth book in the series. Watch for new books!
